The Colorado Springs (Colo.) Pine Creek junior was named the Linebackers MVP and was ranked the fifth best defensive performer at the St. Louis Rivals camp on Sunday:

Performance: Domann was named the state of Colorado's Defensive Player of the Year in 2014 and it was easy to see why after Sunday -- the three-star linebacker just makes plays. At just 6-foot-1 and 208 pounds, Domann is a little undersized for the position, but possesses a skill set that translates very well to the WILL linebacker role at the next level. He was very comfortable in space and had the speed to check running backs out of the backfield whether they ran a wheel route or a quick arrow. Domann is a natural athlete with the ability to change direction on a dime and hang with the skill athletes on the other side of the football. (https://colorado.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1763304)

As I reported last month, CU stopped by Pine Creek twice during the first day of the spring evaluation period. Per his interviews, though, Domann doesn't currently have any plans to visit Boulder.

"I am visiting Arizona State on May 12th," Domann said. "I will be visiting Kansas State and I will hopefully get out to Lincoln again to visit Nebraska. Possibly Stanford and Michigan and some other places like Virginia and North Carolina. I am not sure yet." (https://colorado.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1763342)

I'd assume the Buffs will continue to try to recruit him as hard as they can, but keeps sounding like Domann is likely headed out of state. He wants to decide in July.
