Wednesday Practice Report:

BOULDER-- Isaiah Oliver said yesterday they still haven't played a complete Colorado game with great offense, great defense and great special teams and Coach MacIntyre reiterated that today.

"I thought the CSU game, I really did but we haven't put together where we have won all three phases in that style, well there was a few games we did that but lately we haven't done it where all three of them won all three, you always want to do that, it's kind of been like one phase, one phase, I'd like to put them all together for sure."

The offense has been struggling the past few games but it's the defense that has kept this team together and their consistency has shown all nine games this season.

"Defense has played well, you always have to have defenses to win championships, I've always believed that and I will never stop believing that, you got to score points but there are days the offense isn't always going to be clicking."

To come out with a win this weekend at Arizona the team is going to need to have all three phases of their game firing on all cylinders.

Tuesday Press Conference:

Quick Hits:
*MacIntyre wants everyone to go vote and he's dead serious about it.

* The team is not taking Arizona lightly, they know they are a good team and have beaten the Buffs the past three years.

* The team has addressed the penalty issue and know that down the road they cannot do that because eventually, it will cost them a game.

*Isaiah Oliver is looking forward to going to back home to Arizona to play in front of his family and friends and prove to the Arizona why they should have offered him coming out of high school.

*Oliver believes the team is handling their success in a good way.

*Phillip Lindsay keeps preaching to the team that they have to hold each other accountable if they want to keep winning and having each other's backs for the rest of the season.

Monday Practice Report:

BOULDER-- The 7-2 Colorado Buffaloes had their struggles this past Thursday against UCLA and Coach Mike MacIntyre made sure they knew they couldn't perform like that the rest of the season if they wanted to win.

"We were back here at eight that morning, we run for penalties and different things anyway but it was a little bit more intense with the unsportsmanlike conducts, they responded really well, did really well then they went and lifted."

"It worked out good because it wasn't a day off cause Sunday's are usually a day off so it worked out really well, they were positive about it all and understood it and saw how it hurt us in the game and understand we got to just play in between the whistles no matter what happens outside the whistles," MacIntyre chuckled.

The team has been looking forward to these upcoming games in November and they know that they are the most important ones on their schedule.

"This is what you want to do it for, this is why it's exciting, this is what they came here for, besides the school and the community and everything but the football part they came here for is to be in these types of games, so they can have all this experience, they are excited about playing, we were ready to play the other night, we were playing hard we just had some mistakes but they were ready to play, played extremely hard. They had a good practice today, we call these the gold games cause you get your gold you know we want to keep moving in that direction."

"We're 1-0 in our gold games we want to make it 2-0 if we can."

The Buffs will take on the 2-7 Arizona Wildcats who have lost five games in a row including a blowout loss to Washington State this past weekend.

"There is a little bit of human nature when you see the score but Arizona has beat us the last three times we've played them, they beat us pretty good the last time we were down there, it's a hard place to play, we're going to kick off at eight o'clock at night. They got a good football team they know a lot of those same guys are the same guys that beat us last year so there is no way that we will overlook them at all."

The team controls their own destiny right now and these next three games in November are going to be big for the Buffs. The offense needs to find their stride to put points up against Arizona and the defense needs to keep being dominant to propel the Buffs to a PAC 12 championship.
