Q&A with Colorado WR commit Laviska Shenault
Laviska Shenault wasn't one of many words when I spoke with him, so writing this into a formal recruiting story was a little bit difficult. So I wrote the story in Q&A format.
Shenault is teammates with recent CU decommit Xavier Newman and Buffs' WR commit K.D. Nixon, who has been rumored to be taking a close look at Baylor. Newman is officially visiting Baylor this weekend.
How is everything going with your Colorado commitment?
Shenault: "It's going well. I've been committed for a while."
How is your relationship with coach Chiaverini?
Shenault: "It's good. We've been talking."
How was your official visit to Colorado back in Colorado?
Shenault: "It was interesting - really fun. The game was the most interesting part about it."
Are you looking at any other schools right now or is it just Colorado?
Shenault: "Colorado."
Your teammate Xavier just decommitted and KD might be looking at other schools, specifically Baylor. Are you looking at them too?
Shenault: "No, I'm solid."
Where your teammates go doesn't affect you at all?
Shenault: "No sir it doesn't affect me."
Are you planning on talking to them about staying with Colorado or do you want to let them do their own thing?
Shenault: "I'll kind of talk to them."
