The Big 12 have a pair of contracts with ESPN and FOX Sports, plus a sublicense agreement for games between ESPN and TNT Sports. All contracts expire after the 2030-31 athletic year.

ESPN is considered the primary television partner. FOX's deal is for at least 27 games (27 games was based on a conference composition of 12 schools). ESPN has the rights to the conference championship game to air on ABC or ESPN.

Thirteen games will be sublicensed from ESPN to TNT Sports. It is unknown where these games fall in an order of selections. At least 10 of the 13 games will be intraconference games. The games will air on TNT or TBS.

Big 12 selection order for each week will be determined via a draft of weeks before the season. ESPN will have the top four picks of the draft.

Starting with the 2025 season, all institutional rights will be removed and part of the national TV packages.

Note from me: ESPN includes ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and ABC. Fox Sports is Fox, FS1, FS2. TNT sports is TNT, TBS and TruTV. I will be very rare that games are on ESPNU or FS2 or TruTV if at all. all games not on the networks will be on ESPN+. It is also my understanding that the TNT Sports games are those that would have been on ESPN+ in the past.
