I own a modest number of four. A pistol, two rifles and a shotgun. I'm also in the process of buying a semi-automatic rifle, not technically an assault rifle, but a semi-auto. Just curious in light of the recent trajedies what the gun ownership is on the board. I expect we'll see the assault rifle ban re-imposed and a closing of the gun show loophole, limiting magazine capacity and maybe a few other new rules. It's like a lot of other stuff, there are already numerous laws on the books that are not enforced and the effectiveness of writing yet another new law is open to debate. This is all well and good but the issues go much deeper. Not sure what the answers are or if there are answers that will completely prevent crazy people from acting out on their lunacies. This subject is sure to have a lot of debate in the coming weeks with strong opinions on both sides.
