Individual Takeaways
On Sefo
As mentioned, Sefo struggled on the day. Could not hit targets, especially overthrowing receivers in red-zone situations.
On Montez
I really like this kid. Made some good throws, nothing outstanding, but just something about his demeanor, plus he throws a good ball.
On Gehrke
Kid made some plays, what can you say. Hit Julmisse on a 80-yard score and hit Kabion Ento on a 50-yard touchdown.
On Noyer
Want to see more of this young man.
On Lindsay
This is a bad dude. Love his running style, tough, hits the hole hard, I think he needs to be getting the football much more.
On Lee
Donovan Lee would take a rep, then sit out. Didn’t really do much today. Maybe Colorado wasn’t showing too much of him today?
On Evans
What a motor this kid has. Wish all players played with this heart. Made a few big runs, even got yelled at one time because he just kept running.
On Ento
We’ve talked about Winfree, but Kabion Ento has strong hands can will be another WR weapon this year
On MacIntyre
Good slot receiver. Nothing fancy, but makes plays, good sense of where he is on the filed at al times.
On Julmisse
Think Colorado has someone who can contribute this year as a True Freshman. Kid can make plays, deep ball threat, could also see him in the slot.
On Irwin
Very impressed with him today. Think his eagerness to get back on the field is shining through.
On Lynott
Outstanding he’s only a RS Freshman. Big things coming from him
On Kafovalu
Already facing double teams, dudes a beast. Him and Tupou are a dynamic duo
On Aflolabi Laguda
Brings the wood on every play
On Gonzalez
Looked solid during field goal tries, didn’t miss
On Lopez
As someone mentioned on the board, he’s HUGE.
On Umu
Saw good things from him. Interested to track his progression
Misc.
Coach Mike Macintyre was lit a few times, even through his hat. Believe it was when Kyle Evans just kept running after the whistle blew.
Minimal turnout, I know it’s just a scrimmage, but the attendance was very low.
Beautiful day in Boulder
