Couldn’t get a shot off in the final seconds. Credit to Florida’s D, but the way the game was going, low scoring and physical, and with enough time to run a play, and get a shot, somehow I thought Houston was going to pull it off. Great game, and defensive battle. Kudos to Florida, who fought their way back from being in a pretty deep hole. Still I was pulling for the Big12, and Calvin Sampson’s team, to get Houston’s first Natty, after a few trips to the Final Four, over the years.
