Sam Houston State graduate transfer tailback Ramon Jefferson is visiting the Buffaloes this upcoming weekend. Given that the Buffs are a bit shorthanded in the tailbacks room due to the loss of Jarek Broussard, it makes sense that CU would want to bolster that group, preferably with an experienced set of hands.

Jefferson rushed for 1,155 yards on 173 carries this past season, good for a 6.7 yards per carry average. He also scored 13 touchdowns, en route to being named an AP Second-Team All-American.

After transferring to Sam Houston State from Garden City Community College in Kansas, Jefferson rushed for 752 yards for the Bearkats in their 2021 spring season.

The 5-foot-10, 215-pounder played one year of college football at Maine before going the JUCO route and then to Sam Houston State. I am told he'd be immediately eligible; one year remaining.
