Interesting discussion yesterday about first round hosts in the CFP. A potential, maybe likely, scenario of first round hosts is Notre Dame, Indiana, BYU or Colorado, Ohio State.
This would put all 4 home games, nothing changes if Boise flips with B12, in cities with likely poor weather or at least cold weather on Dec 20/21. Probably not what the CFP was hoping for.
It also would mean no SEC team gets a no first round home game. That would drive Sankey nuts and seem odd considering they by far have played the toughest schedules. Would be fun though.
This only happens if things play out like we think it will AND the OSU vs IU game is a very close affair so neither falls much.
I feel like this scenario plays out except for 2 B10 teams hosting. My guess is between the OSU vs IU game and the conference championship someone moves enough the committee can get the SEC a home game
