Final line of the article:

"Though they will certainly finish at the bottom of the Pac-12 South, Colorado is not the pushover they once were."

We're all debating whether or not we'll finish 4-0 in the non-conference but damn, it's year 3 under this staff and the gap between CU and the other 5 teams in the division is so wide that even when everyone thinks we'll be improved this year, I have yet to read a single publication predicting we'll finish higher than last place in the South Division.

We need to catch up to Utah and finish in 5th so that we're no longer the door mat. Not that 5th is anything to brag about but the perception of CU being "the worst" has prevailed for so long now, we need to escape the basement and at least show that we can win a few P12 games.

It's just sad that the national view of CU this year is, "They were much better than their record showed last year, they have a lot of returning starters with some new JUCO's who will help, they've added a great DC, they have new facilities opening up, new uniforms, and it's year 3 under turnaround artist MM and this will be his best CU team to date, yet they're still a lock to finish in last place."

THIS NEEDS TO CHANGE. Obviously, we need to walk before we can run so beating Hawaii, UMASS, CSU, and Nicholls State is the first priority but until we win P12 games, nobody will care what we do in September. Find a way to beat WSU, OSU, and Utah and people will finally start looking at CU differently.
