The Colorado’s receiving corps has been getting a ton of praise this season, but this Saturday Shay Fields became known a BIG PLAY SHAY. Fields caught a 51-yard touchdown, a 33-yard touchdown, and a 63-yard touchdown all from Quarterback Steven Montez in the first two quarters of the game.
He would finish the game with 7 receptions for 169-yards and 3 scores. Fields is the first Colorado receiver to haul in three touchdown receptions since Nelson Spruce did it in 2014. On the season Fields has now caught for 21 receptions for 460-yards and 5 touchdowns.
