While for die hard fans, relishing this season is something we have enjoyed for weeks, our #10 ranking, great new recruiting news and the prospect of a big game at Folsom has suddenly captured the attention of all kinds of fans across the State. Tonight is just one example. My wife and I stopped by the local Five Guys for dinner and three people I did not know came up to me and said "Go Buffs!" Two were headed to the game, and one of these disclosed that he and his Dad had previously held season tickets between 1995 and 2007 and then dropped them because it was "too painful." The plan to renew season tickets next season. The other simply "wished the Buffs luck" tomorrow.
I have been a season ticket holder for football since 1989 and for years it was common to talk a little Buffs football with strangers nearly every day during the season. Ah, it is SO DAMN GOOD to have our program back in the spotlight!
