I completely understand the criticism of Lindgren, and much of it is deserved. And Sefo is by no means perfect, but isn't the root of all evil either. I think people way underestimate the tone he sets for the entire team, not just the offense by being an absolute warrior.
I loved the scheme and execution of our short yardage play with a full house backfield on the QB keeper and the backs pushing the pile. That play looked completely unstoppable, and it looks like if we need a yard, there's nothing anyone can do to stop us. This was definitely one of the big positives I took from a heartbreaking loss. We are starting to establish a physical mentality and this type of play will really help.
So credit where credit is due.
