Nate Landman was suited up and going through warmups for the first time in a month yesterday only to go through the Senior Day motions and then change into street clothes. However, as the Buffs offense took the field to knee the ball and close things out late in the fourth quarter, Landman managed to put his shoulder pads back on and get on the field to be a part of the victory formation.
Karl Dorrell: "We felt to honor him for who he’s been in our program, when we were able to get in that victory formation, was to put him back as the guy that’s in the protection [part of it. It was good, just for him to be able to be on the field for one last time and take a few snaps.”
Pretty cool gesture to allow Landman to participate in his final home game. Wish his senior year could have been injury free, and we'll see if he plays Friday at Utah, but it was nice to see him get out there nonetheless. Kudos to HCKD for putting him in the victory formation.
