At EVERY level of football from Pee Wee to the NFL pressure on QB's makes all the difference. If you let them sit back with no pressure they will pick you apart. If you harass them, they will make mistakes. Just look at the 3 points, 9 sacks and 6 turnovers by the mighty Wazzou offense tonight.
Now on your defense, you do not have a defensive line that can get pressure on the qb without help....at all...never. You need to get creative you need to bring pressure and you need to bring it from all over the field (Not just the same Drew Lewis up the middle blitz we have seen repeatedly all year).
You also do not have LB's or a secondary that can cover WR's, TE's and RB's for 4-8 seconds every down...so once again... you have to find ways to get pressure on the QB.
This is not rocket science. Pressure = Poor Play and No Pressure = QB field day.
You better figure this out before next Saturday night or it will be ugly.
