Three-star wide receiver Jason Essex, who recently wrapped up an official visit with the Buffaloes, will commit July 16. He's a big target of Chev's and I am cautiously optimistic that he might land with the Buffs.
Good-looking prospect with whom Iowa State and Kentucky are also finalists. He's 6-foot-3 and just short of 200 pounds, hailing from Kansas City, Missouri. He'd be a nice get; just shy of four stars with a healthy offer sheet full of P5 opportunities.
I think it's fair to assume that CU, ISU and Kentucky are the final horses in the race, seeing as he visited all three this month, most recently the Buffaloes.

Colorado should have a solid chance at him and the fact that his final OV was in Boulder could prove decisive.
