Three-star receiver Daijon Calimon has backed off his commitment to Colorado today. The reality is this has been in the works. He committed to CU before the arrival of Deion Sanders and Armond Hawkins Jr. was a big reason for that. When the new staff came on board there was interest but he had not been a top priority either. He didn't get to meet Sanders on his January visit with the Buffs and it seemed like there had been lukewarm feelings on the part of the Buffs. So, this is not a surprise and really is a mutual parting of ways. The Buffs simply have higher priorities. He would have been a nice piece, but CU is aiming higher in this class.
