Picked 9th this year in the Pac 12. So much promise for this program with Mahoney's hire and now in the bottom 1/3 of the league. Had a lot of roster issues in the past and players like Clayton not panning out the past couple of years hurt severely. Also, the loss of Sterling Parker last year was huge. Parker is back this year which should help the team out a lot. Meegan Hart and Brynna DeLuzio coming back for the extra year was a big deal as well. Jahara Campbell developing into a top hitter would be nice and Maya Tabron being one of the scoring leaders again would be great as well. They could go a number of ways at setter and looks like DeLuzio could move into that role and allow Lougeay to be the Libero. They got 1 transfer, Lexi Hadrych, from UCLA. Her playing time seemed to dwindle after a superstar freshman year at UCLA. Maybe she gives us something in the front line rotation.
I hope this team surprises. Don't really have the big name they've had in the past outside of Parker who was out all of last year.
