The Alamo Bowl has announced that it is down to two matchups for the matchup that will be played on Dec. 28 in San Antonio. Because the former Pac-12 teams are still contractually obligated to Pac-12 bowl tie-ins, the four teams still in play are all now Big 12 partners.
Iowa State and BYU represent the "Big 12" side of the matchup while Colorado and ASU represent the "Pac-12" representative.
The final matchup will be announced 1:30 p.m. MST on Dec. 8.
