SDSU has been prepping for a potential game with CU since Tuesday (according to Wilner and Howell) when CU made the oral contract to play SDSU in the event of a cancellation with USC.
This one has the makings of a major letdown. You go from national game for the Pac 12 South title with all eyeballs on you to playing SDSU at home on the Pac 12 net. Oof! With all the cancellations, I'm surprised a major network didn't try to pick this game up. I mean seriously. Pac 12 network? Ugghh!
The game will probably be a lot more competitive than we're comfortable with. They have had way more time to prep for us than we have for them. They do have to travel tomorrow though so that makes it a little better. Still, I expect they'll be fairly ready to come after us. We'll need to do a lot of adjustments on the fly. Coaches will earn that pay. Hope we come out healthy in this one.
