Its clear the Buffs learned a few things the hard way against the Ducks
-QBSS has to be a threat to run the ball. The OL does not afford him the ability to be a pocket passer that sometimes hands the ball off. He also cant be an RPO guy that never keeps the ball.
This paid off in spades on Saturday and will help against everyone else we play.
-QBSS has to get the ball out. He held the ball too long on only a few occasions against USC. THey stopped coming as hard once they figured out he wasnt going to hold the ball. Get it out or get killed, pretty simple calculus there
-100% effort, 100% of the time is required to stay in games against the top teams. NOthing else should ever be acceptable.
