Colorado has signed 7-foot-1 center Leonardo Van Elswyk, per Tad Boyle in an interview with Mark Johnson.
Boyle hopes Van Elswyk, "can come in and help us play right away." The 7-foot-1 center played for Oleggio Magic Basket in the Italian Serie B league last season as well as the U19 Italian National Team. Van Elswyk averaged 8.5 PPG, 7.4 RPG, and 0.7 BPG on the U19 Italian team.
He also heard from programs such as San Francisco, Penn State, and UC San Diego.
