The Buffs have landed a commitment from one of the top available transfer receivers today. Campbell University's Sincere Brown has announced his pledge to Colorado following a weekend visit to Boulder. The 6-foot-5, 190-pound redshirt senior is coming off a stellar season with the Camels having caught 61 passes for 1,028 yards and a new school record 12 touchdowns.
He entered the portal on March 17 and added offers from across the country including from schools such as Texas A&M, Michigan, Kentucky, Arkansas, Maryland and North Carolina. The Aggies had been in strong position to land him but he made the trek to CU this weekend and that sealed his decision.
Brown is the second transfer addition in as many days for the Buffs following a decision from Memphis offensive lineman Xavier Hill on Saturday. CU has been seeking out some immediate help at receiver to compliment what is a younger and somewhat inexperienced unit following the departures of several top playmakers from last year's team.
The newcomer from Campbell should give the Buffs a clear threat on the outside. The former two-star prospect from Charleston, South Carolina began his career at South Florida where he played in 10 games across three seasons. He'll have one season of eligibility left with the Buffs.
