Haven’t looked at the entire PAC 12 schedule, but one team should not have a bye week the week before and one not. Both teams should be coming off a bye week prior the game, like UCLA and CU a few eeeks ago. Not sure we would have beaten them if USC did not have a bye, but it certainly helped them to game plan, practice for us, and get a little healthier in the two weeks.
Their game plan completely took advantage of our two biggest weaknesses- OL and DB. Not sure they could have exposed both to that extent without the extra week. That is a very undisciplined team and appears to be a little U.N. coach able. Scary talented and physical though....we’re closing that gap from 5 years ago, but still a ways to go.
