Colorado yesterday issued offers to two Class of 2022 wide receivers, both of whom hail from Louisiana.

Behind door #1 is Keshlon Jackson, 1 6-foot-0, 170-pound WR from Lake Charles (Lake Charles Prep), LA. CU joins KSU, Memphis, Michigan State, South Alabama and Virginia in offering him.

I can see why he's nicknamed "Spidey." Jackson is slippery, especially on his special teams return assignments.

The other prospect offered is four-star wideout Shazz Preston out of St. James, LA. Preston's offer sheet speaks for itself; he'll likely be one of the top offensive skill position prospects coming out of Louisiana when he gets into his upperclassmen years of high school. LSU is going to fight hard to keep him home.

Interesting that Mitch Rodrigue issued both of these offers and while I'm sure Darrin Chiaverini will be involved here soon, Rodrigue was the coach tagged in both players' announcements that they'd been offered, so he appears to be the point man on both prospects at the moment.

Always smart to get a head start on the '22 recruits.
