After Mel Tucker poached Derek Marckel, CU's frankly phenomenal graphic design guru who whipped up the vast majority of imagery related to the 2020 recruiting class, it definitely created a hole that needed replacing.

At the end of the day, college graphic designers, especially those that deal with recruiting-related designs, are extremely important. Think recruits enjoy coming to campus and taking pics in uniforms? Well, multiply that by about 1000 and you reach the level of hype that comes with recruits being on the receiving end of sick, custom-created graphics, starring them.

The Buffs sent out custom graphics to Jordan Berry for his mom's birthday and to Jason Harris when he won Arizona Defensive Player of the Year...smart moved designed to cater to target recruits. Marckel handled them all.

So with all that, enter Bo Savage, formerly of Kansas State and Air Force. He's Colorado's new football graphic designer.

Solid stuff. I think he'll acclimate nicely to the job demands in Boulder.
