After reading thru many many posts and seeing Buff fans angry, hurt, disillusioned, frustrated, you name it, upset with HC MM, Sefo, most of the coaches, lots of the players, and ready to call this season a failure due to that one (ugly blowout) loss it seems clear to me that the upcoming bowl game (Alamo vs Okie Lite I'd guess) will end up defining the season for many fans.
WIN and it will be a great season, one of the top 3 or 4 in Buff history and everyone will be anxiously waiting for another fine season in 2017. Kudos to all the coachers and players for one of the best seasons ever. Awards and honors for all and good feelings for all.
LOSE (especially if the team is down after UDub and gets blown out) and the feelings will be negative towards the coaches and some key players. Gone will be the euphoria over a 10 win season (one of the best ever for CU) and an amazing turnaround (Rise). The bad vibes we've seen since last night will be much worse and longer lasting.
So, this upcoming bowl game will in all likelihood serve as the defining moment for a long and really tremendous (IMHO) season. Let's hope the coaches and players get it turned around, come out smoking and put a great capper on this great season.
