next year.

The boys had chances to win at least 3 games this year and failed with drops and poor efforts. Next year though, things could be a lot different.

Ento - probably our best pro prospect at WR. Has the 4.4 speed of a guy like Fields but with huge hands, a gigantic catch radius, and the ability to go up and get it. Ento was already 12 pounds bigger this fall than last year. Next year, he'll have the upper body built up as well and could be a monster WR waiting to develop. This is one we should watch closely. We could have something special here.

Winfree - The difference between he and Fields was palpable. He is explosive, strong, and another big target. He's maybe not quite as fast as Fields, but we need to see him with a full year of healed knee to really find out. He could easily be a 1000 yard receiver next year if he's healthy and confident. He looked obviously great against USC.

Nixon - I'm sorry but I won't miss Ross. He's going to set the record for the number of drops by a CU WR by the end of the Utah game. I've never seen a receiver drop as many passes as he has over a CU career. Nixon gives us a lot of the same qualities as Ross with a muscular build and great speed, but he has more of a running back's balance and moves. He likely won't just go out of bounds with 5 yards of room to the sideline. I have a feeling we'll like his hands as well.

Shenault - Another guy ready to be a star and step into Bobo's big shoes to fill. He has tremendous hands and WAY better speed than advertised. He is also one of the best built freshmen WRs I've ever seen. Holy cow that guy is put together. He and Nixon look like upper classmen. Can't wait to see what they can do in an off season. Shenault is going to be All Pac 12 sooner than later.

On Deck, Tony Brown, Maurice Bell, Jaylon Jackson. I'm very excited about all 3 and hope they can push those top 4 guys. We need them to because we can't have a bunch of guys squatting in the starting lineup again that are underperforming.
