Some breaking news to relay here this afternoon, as Colorado assistant MBB coach Anthony Coleman is returning to ASU to take up an assistant spot with Bobby Burley once more.
Coleman had spent the previous three seasons before coming to CU as an assistant with the Sun Devils.
Pat Rooney of the Boulder Daily Camera made this point awhile back in a column of his, so full credit to him for this thought and point, but Tad Boyle staked his reputation on Coleman in bringing him to Boulder in the midst of an NCAA investigation, one that Coleman of course at a time was tied to.
Seeing him leave after a year is a stinger for sure. Didn't see this one coming, but alas, time to find a new assistant coach.
