That game could have and should have gone another way. 5 points that come to mind:

  • As noted elsewhere, starting Miller in this game , against Pittman was a disaster.
  • As opposed to Miller, they wait until it is too late to get Jackson in the game (WHY?!?!?). Jackson is one of the few players who actually has speed and athleticism to match USC.
  • Not getting Montez more involved in the running game
  • Our defense played well enough to win.
  • Refs giftd USC a touch down.
Also, the most glaring weakness for CU was our o-line against USC's d-line. Man, when pressed our o-line is pretty disorganized and pathetic. Not looking forward to next week, but still optimistic for the rest of the season. Firmly believe CU can come out of this season with only two losses, but also acknowledge we could have three or four more if our coaches don't learn from their mistakes last night.
