Very excited about the direction of the Buffs under Coach Tucker, which already has me thinking about next season, which led me to thinking about the QB situation. Just a glance at the South Division’s quarterbacks alone is scary. For example, ASU has young, already successful Jayden Daniels, UCLA has Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who is going to be very, very good, and USC, holy smokes, that Kedon Slovis is unbelievable, and he is backed by JT Daniels (Or vice versa)!
Brendon Lewis looks to be the real deal, but, obviously will be an unproven freshman. CU has completely unproven quarterbacks in the queue, none of whom seem to even some close in potential to those listed above.
Looks like CU might need to go with the freshman, unless HCMT has a graduate student or transfer up his sleeve. (Caveat: I realize that there will be competition for the QB job in camp.) CU needs a QB to keep the present momentum going in 2020.
