Happy Holidays! Your support means the world to me!

Dear Buff Nation,

As the holiday season approaches, I find myself reflecting on the incredible support and kindness you’ve shown throughout my cancer journey. Your prayers and encouragement have been a guiding light during this challenging time.

Recently, there have been some unexpected twists in my medical path. Despite positive news earlier, a new medical concern arose, requiring me to visit a concussion specialist and prioritize rest and recovery. It’s a reminder that this journey demands resilience and adaptability.

On a brighter note, my cardiologist has recommended a wellness clinic for light exercise to boost my stamina and overall well-being. These efforts are all part of the ongoing battle against cancer, which truly takes its toll.

In the midst of medical appointments and uncertainties, I’m consciously cherishing the joys of this festive season. Our Christmas tree has become a beacon of joy in our home, twinkling with lights and bringing smiles even in challenging times.

As I prepare for my next infusion on 12/18/23, I ask for your continued support. Whether it’s a prayer, positive thoughts, or any form of encouragement, each gesture means the world to me.

May this holiday season bring you an abundance of love and joy. Your generosity and care have been a blessing in my life, and I’m immensely grateful for your ongoing support.

Warmest wishes,
Craig

Ouch UCLA

This guy is exactly who Riley needs to put it together. He is a great DC. And to take him from UCLA must make it even sweeter.

I think if there are good coaches on the market next year Kelly is gone. I like Kelly and UCLA isn’t more than the rest of us below the top tier. They aren’t usually going to make a playoff and aren’t likely to land a huge name. Their boosters are nuts though and I suspect he is only still here because of the lack of big names available due to other major openings.

Our old (and brief) friend, Antonio Alfano...

Just committed to LSU. During his short time here, after transferring from Alabama, he was never really a factor, struggling with an illness. Finally got back on track at Lackawanna Juco, and now, back almost full circle, in the SEC. There's a guy who, if he would have considered a second chance at CU, could potentially have been a difference-maker on the DL. And we could sure use a couple of those.

Paging Troy, and Nickie

Really want to hear from you two. It’s been totally silent on this site, having to due with recruitment, and new coaches. All I’ve heard is negative feedback from other people on the site, about players going into the portal, and losing high school recruits. Do you have any information you can share? Just wondering because this site used to be more active at this time of year.

CU men’s team review

1: no post defense-again
2: no post offense- again
3: one consistent player KJ
4: one consistent shooter Kj
5: one starter who should never take a shot longer than 5 feet O’Brien
6: Is not a PAC 12 quality starter Hadley
7: Should be starting and have a number of set plays to get him the ball C Williams
8: most overrated player and not ready for the NBA da Silva
9: stop the high school turnovers
10: better coaching
I‘m sure there are more but too tired, depressed, and it’s passed my bedtime.
