WATCH: Head coach Deion Sanders and players recap CU-USC

Colorado put up a late fight in the second half, however it wasn't enough to take CU's potential first victory over USC in the end, as the Buffs lost 48-41.

Head coach Deion Sanders, Shedeur Sanders, Omarion Cooper, and Rodrick Ward met with the media after the game.

Watch the full sessions below:

Game breakdown: CU's second-half comeback attempt falls short against USC

After only scoring on two of nine drives to begin the game, the Buffs found some momentum to pull themselves out of a 27-point hole Saturday.

Quick recap of the game on Saturday:

USC vs. Colorado LIVE

Myself and Corey Gibson are back with another live stream on the Rivals YouTube channel for USC vs Colorado tomorrow.

We will talk scheme, personnel, tell stories of the recruits when they were in high school and answer any questions you may have. I was on Tim Brewster's staff at Minnesota and Sean Lewis is a good friend of mine, so I'll be able to share some nuggets about them.

We will likely have a special guest or two hop on the stream from the stadium while on their game day visits as well. Should be a good time!

Leave a question here or join the live stream to comment or ask any questions that pop up during the game.

Across enemy lines: A look at what USC is bringing to Boulder

Colorado has the type of team that gives it a chance to beat USC for the first time in school history, but doing so will be a tall task.

@Ryan Young breaks down five key questions heading into Saturday ⬇️

Weekly game plan thread

Hey guys last week I asked this before Oregon so I thought maybe I’d do it weekly in a quest to continue learning.

Again , I find myself unable to see a scenario where we win. The USC lines are very good. The defense is much better than just stats show you. Break down the stats and they are a strong unit that matches up very well with us.

We know we will have trouble keeping SS upright. Last week we saw some success moving him around but still didn’t use it enough or couldn’t execute on it enough, not sure which, and it hurt us.

Our DL got very little pressure again and our attempts at bringing more guys in on blitzes was mixed though we did get in there a couple times.

For you guys smarter than me, this will include most of the board, if you are Sanders and Co. how are you gsme planning to have a chance against far superior athletes.
Never say never and upsets happen but it’s going to take magic. How do we make our own

SKO BUFFS!

OT: The Lane Train

Great article on Lane Kiffin and his firing at USC. He’s one of my favorite coaches in the game for his eccentricities. Brilliant mind for the game too.

I know who on this board this was written to....

Dear Buffalo Fans:

What an incredible start to our football season! Coach Prime, the team and our Department of Athletics staff are appreciative of your incredible support at our first two homes games, and for the sellouts for the rest of our home slate.

We want to remind you of our expectations of fan conduct during games. We expect all our fans to refrain from vulgar language, verbal or physical abuse, underage drinking, and overall intoxication. This type of conduct will not be tolerated at our home sporting events, and I have instructed our gameday staff and members of law enforcement to enhance their monitoring efforts of our fans’ conduct. Consequences for such behavior can include expulsion from the game, bans on attending future contests, student conduct investigations and, of course, legal action. Please act responsibly during our games, not only so others can enjoy the experience, but also so the world can see our passion and character.

In addition, I ask you to refrain from entering the field after games. Although “rushing the field” has long been a college football tradition, in recent years, many schools and conferences are cracking down on the practice, as it greatly jeopardizes the safety of players, coaches, staff and other fans. Rushing the field is in violation of University and Pac-12 regulations.

Unfortunately, after both of our first two home games, we received an inordinate number of complaints regarding fan conduct (especially student conduct), and after both of our home game victories, students and fans “rushed the field.” Such conduct is unacceptable, and I ask you to please refrain from such behavior for any future events.

Thank you again for your incredible support of the Buffs and for your respectful adherence to our fan conduct policies. It’s a great time to be a Colorado Buffalo, and I look forward to seeing you at Folsom Field on Saturday as we take on USC.

Go Buffs!

Win totals

Reading through the weekly grab bag column on ESPN this morning they has some interesting USC defensive stats and the Colorado win total.
One writer picked 6 and pointed out that even though people are piling on after our “pathetic” loss to Oregon they need to see the success of a bowl after one win. He picked UA, ASU and Stanford as wins.
The other writer picked the same but said he expects an upset special to end at 7. Picked either UCLA or OSU as the 7th. Noted our poor line play (SS sacked 22 times. The most in 20 years through 4 games) but said give Deion a couple years and they will build something.

What’s everyone got ?
I have us at 6 myself. Stanford, UA and one of ASU or UCLA. All of them close wins

Best Starting 11

Can't keep up with all the players coming and going from injuries and rotation so far. Who has excelled most at each position, when healthy, and playing? Who makes up your best starting 11, on each side of the ball, whether healthy right now or not.

I'm mostly curious on Defense as I have a hard time watching and keeping up with all the players we rotate in and out.

Offense:

WR - Hunter, Weaver, Horn (or Dawson)
LT - Lichtenhan
LG - Bailey
C - Wells
RG - Bebee
RT - Washington
TE - Harrison
QB - Sanders
RB - Edwards (or McCaskill)

Defense:

DE - McClendon
DT - Cokes
DT - Payne
O LBR - Domineck
I LBR - Bentley
I LBR - Mitchell
Nickle - Slusher (or Silmon-Craig)
CB - Hunter
Safety - Woods
Safety - Sanders
CB - Cooper
