OT _ Unexpected Gifts

As fans we have received some unexpended gifts that give ua pathway to the CFP. I also received some unexpected gifts as well.

As the holiday season approaches, I’m reminded of how incredibly blessed I am to still be here with all of you. Your love and support means the world to me, and I truly appreciate every bit of it.

If you’ve ever faced cancer—whether for yourself or a loved one—you know how unpredictable this journey can be. I often find myself praying that my cancer remains stable. Here’s hoping for a long, stable ride, however long that may be.

I’ll never forget the recent day I discovered a new lump on my neck. It was just before my scheduled CT scan, and I was a bundle of nerves, dreading what I might hear. I mean, really—why couldn’t those other lumps in my lungs just take a cue from my diet and go into hiding?

But then, miracle of miracles! The next day, the results showed that the new lump had actually shrunk. Hallelujah! It’s like the universe decided to give me a little good news for a change. Who knows what caused the enlargement, but I’m definitely not complaining!

In other news, I had a fantastic trip to Colorado, thanks to a friend who gifted me club seats to watch the CU game and another who generously offered airline miles for the round trip. It was wonderful to see my brothers and enjoy some time away.

However, on the way home, I started feeling a bit under the weather. After a doctor’s visit, I learned I had some form of RSV—coughing and hacking for ten days straight! I’m thankful it wasn’t COVID or the flu, but let me tell you, my lower immunity from my drug therapies definitely was a punch in the gut. I felt like a gerbil on a wheel, just trying to keep up!

With all my heart, thank you for being in my corner. Together, we’ll keep rolling forward! Please continue to send prayers, words of encouragement and, if you feel like it, a few dollars to help me with my ongoing medical bills. Click here

Much love and blessings,

Craig (NC Buff)
