Buffs add Kyle Carpenter to freshman class

Colorado adds cornerback Kyle Carpenter from Buford (Ga.) High School. Carpenter committed to Colorado over a week ago and CU announced his signing on Monday. Carpenter player WR and DB as he caught nine passes for 142 yards and a touchdown and recorded three tackles. He was teammates with four-star LB Mantrez Walker.

CU now at 79 scholarship players and have six remaining spots.
