BEST OLINE GAME IN YEARS

HAs our OL arrived? Do we have an OL that can carry a team? Are they a top 10 OL with size, strength, speed agility and the experience and smarts of an experienced unit? No. Can they get there? We are going to find out.
THe good news is that they have improved every game and now we have 7 guys in a rotation competing to earn playing time while other team members can carry the team. CIncy came in with 17 sacks and left with 18 because QBSS made a cocky, stupid, knucklehead and predicatble mistake on the first series. He is a great QB that has to get his grill dented every game before he remembers that he cant hold the ball. Fortunately for the buffs it happened in the 1st series of the last two games and then he remembered.

OurOL continues to learn and get better. Cincy was not a great pass rush team and they typically sent just 3 guys, dropping 8 but who cares. THey had 17 sacks for a reason and our guys had a chance to get another look, to grow and gel as a unit. Every other team we play will probably send 4 or 5 guys but QBSS is also learning that he needs to get the ball out. When Utah or TT send 5 guys, that pass to the flat that he was making for 2-3 yards last night, will go for 5-10 yards and QBSS will have a clean jersey.

Really looking fwd to the last 4 games which we will have a chance to win and will likely be favored in each. We know how to win on the road so unless espn decides to push oour kickoff to midnight in the rockies, i like our chances. If the OLINE can continue to grow and KSU and Iowa State can manage a loss, we could have something here.

Loving Dre Miller BTW. He has the look of a receiver that can run hot routes and reliably catch the ball.

Lack of divisions

In these conferences is just silly. CU doesn’t play ISU or BYU and those two don’t play each other.

There are also going to be times where the final game of the season could be completely useless if the championship games are set to feature the same teams the following week. It could happen this year with Texas and A&M.

Not to mention there are completely arbitrary tie breakers opposed to settling these games on the field.
