Why is this win huge? Lakers are in 5th place and Nuggets avoid playing the Lakers in round 1 by avoiding 3rd place. Lakers have been without Lebron and Davis just got back. Both will be available in the playoffs which means the Lakers are a 1 seed playing at 5. Nuggets would get either the Mavs or Portland most likely. Would then play either Utah or Arizona in round 2. Either series would be brutal without Murray but, would not face the Lakers until the conference finals (which is huge).
