Karl Dorrell talked a lot about energy today during his portion of CU's signing day press conference. After a period of time in which the Buffs were just getting hammered with transfer portal losses, to then bring in some solid portal reinforcements themselves, coupled with a solid close heading into signing day, I think Dorrell is correct when he talks about a bit of a breath of fresh air being blown into the Champions Center.
I will say this much: having just met CU's new assistants, all of those guys are fired up and excited to get to work. Today was pretty upbeat and full of good energy.
Time will tell whether that work translates into wins in 2021, but I think Dorrell is telling the truth when he talks about some new reinvigorating energy being present among players and coaches as winter workouts continue.
