Travis Gray, following a recent workout in Boulder, was glad to have received an offer from Colorado, where his father, Lamarr, played from 1986-1990.
Gray has built up an offer sheet featuring Arizona, Maryland, ASU, Florida Atlantic and others since his first scholarship offer (Eastern Michigan) came across his plate in January.
Below, Gray's excitement at being offered is plain to see, as is his feelings towards Colorado taking this long to offer. CU doesn't need to court every in-state prospect to the ends of the earth, but Gray is a kid I think that was not offered at the appropriate time.
U of A and Maryland have been allowed to get in pretty good with him. We'll see if the Buffs can make a legitimate push to land him; he is currently looking to schedule an unofficial in Boulder, so that's a step in the right direction.
