Buffs fell short of my minimum acceptable performance having not made the sweet 16. If you had told me going in that we outrebounded the Eagles and had the same number of Turnovers i would have assumed we would win. However, the poor shooting on WIDE OPEN 3s and the complete inability to stop Kolek were too much to overcome. Too bad because that was our game to lose.
That being said HCTB had another year where you cant fire him (ADRG will never fire him anyway) but you leave feeling completely unsatified. I like many things about HCTB but if you define making it the the final 4 or winning a natty, as satisfaction i dont think he gets us to the promised land. To me we have had a program and support required to get a natty but going fwd with collectives and NIL running wild, we may have missed our window of opportunity unless we can find a Phil Knight to sponsor us.
I'll have to lower my expectations.
