Stanford is a juggernaut. Just tons of talent. The fact that we beat them will always be a feather in this year's women's team's cap. One of the interesting side storylines is 2 former Colorado preps going at it. UCLA senior Michaela Onyenwere going head to head with Stanford sophomore Fran Belibi. Onyenwere was a monster scoring 30 points, but took 26 shots to get there and was largely held off the glass. Belibi did a great job defensively and was an efficient 2-2 offensively in her 15 minutes. 4 Colorado preps among the 2 teams. We did a much better job recruiting the state this year but imagine all those ladies playing for CU. Would have been our team in the finals. Go Buffs 2022!
