CUSportsReport - RB Jaedon Matthews enjoys 'great environment' on Colorado visit
Running back Jaedon Matthews came away from his recent visit to Boulder with a positive impression of the Buffs.

Jaedon Matthews has seen his recruitment pick up so far this year, and Colorado was one of the schools that offered him back in January. He was able to get on campus for the first time last week, and Sean Lewis in particular left a strong impression on the 2024 recruit. Matthews plans to take visits to Vanderbilt, Wisconsin, Georgia Tech and Cal up next but CU definitely has given him a lot to think about. He racked up close to 1,000 all-purpose yards at Saguaro High in Scottsdale in the 2022 season and could be a nice weapon for Lewis and the rest of the offensive staff.
Here's a little excerpt from my chat with Matthews and you can read the full update at the link above.
"I can’t say enough about Coach Lewis. He was a standout to me. A real players coach with crazy, genuine enthusiasm and belief in what they do. The way he calls plays and sees the game was remarkable. Coach Flea was also real and gave critical feedback for the RB group."
