They have this guy starting on their OL at center (started at LT, then moved to center and has been a staple since). Just a sophomore, but a 2 year starter own their OL and first freshman to start day 1 since D'Brichashaw Ferguson (a long time NFL star). Why didn't we recruit this guy harder? A Valor graduate. Same class as Colby Pursell. Would have been in the OL class of grayshirts (2016). We only took 2 Coloradans that year, both linemen (Roberts and Vaughan). Based on the articles, we offered early but then tailed off. He committed to Virginia, but Virginia fired their coaches and Wyoming and CSU went in after him but not CU. Obviously with little competition, he gave his Virginia pledge to Mendenhall but I wonder if CU could have snuck in there and gotten him. Looks like he will be a stud for UVA going forward. Seems like a big miss on a local 2* guy we should have been able to snag. Considering who else we recruited in that class, crazy that we missed on this one.
