This time, it's Hansi Flick's young, fearless squad looking to break through, firing at a rampant 3.1 goals per game across Europe this season. Fresh off a dramatic Copa del Rey win over Real Madrid and leading La Liga, Barca are flying high.

But they'll know Inter's unbeaten run in their last 15 Champions League away games is no fluke. Simone Inzaghi has developed his team like that.

They were the finalists just two years ago. So, now, Inter have been all about grit and grind this season, conceding just five goals in Europe so far. Frattesi's late heroics against Bayern was just the trailer of what the Catalans should expect from them this season.

At the same time, Inter will need every ounce of their famed defensive steel to hold off a Barcelona side which seems likely to scored with every on-target attempt.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch the match, kickoff times and the latest lineup news.

Barcelona vs. Inter Milan predicted lineups, team news

Still without Robert Lewandowski due to a hamstring issue, Barcelona are hopeful Alejandro Balde can return at left-back, though Gerard Martin is on standby.

Youngsters Marc Bernal and Marc Casado remain sidelined with knee injuries, but Marc-Andre ter Stegen is fit again and pushing to start in goal. Flick is expected to stick with the in-form duo of Lamine Yamal and Raphinha on the wings, with Ferran Torres leading the line.

Barcelona predicted XI (4-2-3-1, right to left): Szczesny (GK) — Kounde, Cubarsi, Martinez, Martin — De Jong, Pedri — Yamal, Olmo, Raphinha — Torres.

Injured: Lewandowski, Balde (doubt), Bernal, Casado.
Suspended: None.

Lautaro Martinez remains the focal point for Inter, having scored in five straight Champions League games, but his strike partner Marcus Thuram faces a race against time with a thigh problem.

Benjamin Pavard also picked up an ankle injury at the weekend and is a doubt. On the positive side, Denzel Dumfries and Piotr Zielinski have returned to fitness, while Alessandro Bastoni and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are back from domestic bans and set to start.

Inter Milan predicted XI (3-5-2, right to left): Sommer (GK) — Bisseck, Acerbi, Bastoni — Dumfries, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco — Martinez, Thuram.

Injured: Thuram (doubt), Pavard (doubt).
Suspended: None.
