I had to go back to the store today to pick up some items I missed on my wife’s list. While going through the fast check out, I looked up to see a man wearing a Nebraska sweatshirt. Which is weird here in Ohio. I made eye contact with him and said “ New Year’s Day bowl games today! Who does Nebraska play”? He says back “ We didn’t make it to a bowl game this year”. With a sour face, I looked back and said “That sucks! Didn’t Colorado beat them this year”? He look up at me from his scanner and said “Everone beat us this year”. I finished checking out, walking to my car with a huge smile on my face knowing I had thrown a little shade on that poor soul. Happy new year buff fans! Go Buffs!
