The CU football record for 2024 could go in several directions. Here's my take:

The clear favorites for CU wins:
--ND State (watch out, but we have more raw talent. A lot more)
--at CSU (FoCo won't help. Won't be close like last yeat)
--Baylor (solid win)
--Cincinnati (Bearcats aren't there yet)

The pretty even games, but certainly not easy:
--at Nebraska (They've spent six months preparing for just this game; Raiola will be in our sights)
--at UCF (we match up well with them, but the road trip is worrisome)
--KSU (an excellent team, well coached, decent talent; both teams will be coming off a bye)
--KU at Arrowhead (an even game, at KC)

The toughest games for CU wins:
--at Arizona (lots of talent, lots of heat)
--at Texas Tech (underrated, some real players, and nasty at home)
--Utah (the usual)
--Oklahoma St (a team that could be, and probably will be the conference champ)

My bottom line: Every game is winnable, every one, but a bunch of them also are lossable. If our collection of new faces comes together, and we stay healthy, home wins over Utah and OSU (the two best teams on paper) are even possible. A prediction of a 6-6 or 7-5 record seems justifiable. Anything better would be a great showing, anything less a huge disapoointment.
