On Monday, November 7th Samuel Barnes a 6-foot-1, 194 pound defensive back out of George Ranch, High School in Richmond, Texas was offered by Colorado. With offers from USC, Kansas State, and now Colorado things are heating up for Barnes who attends the same high school as Colorado Running Back Commitment Alex Fontenot.

What are your thoughts on the Colorado offer?
SB: Colorado seems like a really cool place to play at.
What does teammate Alex Fontenot tell you about CU?
SB: Alex speaks very highly of them.
What coach is recruiting you from Colorado?
SB: Coach Darian Hagen
What do you think about Colorado’s recent success?
SB: They seem to be doing really well this season. Me not watching tv a lot ,I will sit down and will watch them more.
Would you be interested in playing in the PAC 12?
SB: Yes I would be very interested in playing in the PAC 12. A lot of competition and some recent teammates on teams in that conference.
What will play the biggest factor in your commitment?
SB: How comfortable I am with the coaches of the team.
Do you have a commitment date in mind, if so when?
SB: After the season/officials.
Do you plan to make a visit to Colorado between now and January?
SB: Yes I'm planning to take my visit to Colorado right after my season. (Play Friendswood this Friday Night in the playoffs)
