I have updated the three-star offensive tackle prospect from Ventura College a few times, but hadn't interviewed him since his unofficial visit to CU on Aug. 1. He visited Boulder for the first time with his grandparents, who have friends in the area. "I loved it," Rising said. "That place is beautiful and the new facilities are definitely amazing, something else. I have never seen anything like it. They are super nice. It was more than what I expected, definitely. I enjoyed getting to meet all of the offensive linemen at a barbeque. They are doing a good job of building the program over there." Rising is set to visit Washington State this weekend. "They have been doing renovations of their own at Washington State so I am excited to see that and see the area," he said. "Boulder is amazing with the Rocky Mountains right there so I am hoping to see some cool stuff out at Washington State." Rising had told me previously he wanted to wait the recruiting process out but is now saying he is not sure if he will keep waiting or decide soon.
