One of seven in-state prospects from the Class of 2017 that have already received at least one FBS offer, Cherry Creek linebacker prospect Santino Marchiol visited Boulder earlier this month. He was impressed with the tour of the facilities of got, stating CU is going to have "facilities that resemble a great program." He hopes to visit Boulder more in the future and get more of an opportunity to talk with the Buffs' coaches as they were a little preoccupied with the Spring Game when he visited. Colorado State, Hawaii and UMass are the schools that have offered early. Marchiol plans to go on a bus tour with other top 2017 recruits... they'll be visiting every program in the SEC and ACC, as well as a number of Big 12 schools. He also plans to camp at Ohio State, Stanford, Florida, TCU and Miami this summer. Marchiol said he has always wanted to go play in the South so it'll be a battle for the Buffs to keep him in-state if his stock continues to rise, but he did add that CU really impressed him. I'll have a front page write-up on Marchiol up shortly. Here is a link to his sophomore highlight reel:
