Quartney Davis, a three-star wide receiver prospect from Houston (Texas) Langham Creek, received his latest offer from Colorado on Monday after Buffs wide receivers coach Troy Walters saw him practice. Davis has lost track of all the offers he has but mentioned Texas Tech, California, Utah, Kansas State and Kansas as other schools that have offered. "The coach from Colorado was basically saying that they love how I play and I would be a great fit for their offense," he said. "I like their offense. They throw the ball a lot and they have a good Engineering school at Colorado, too." Davis claims not to have any early recruiting favorites. He is open to leaving the state of Texas for college. Davis was named first-team all-district and honorable mention all-state despite missing four games during his junior season due to a dislocated shoulder and torn labrum, which required surgery. He has run the 200-meter dash in 21.7-seconds this spring, and helped Langham Creek's 4x1 and 4x2 relay teams advance to the regional meet this weekend.
